Another good reason to use vinegar instead of fabric softener!! I recently read that to keep your cotton towels fluffier and help retain absorbency, don't use fabric softener or dryer sheets. These items will make the surface softer to the touch, but will inhibit the cotton's natural water wicking ability. Pretty amazing, huh!
